The following is a list of confirmed Iranian officials killed during the 2026 Iran war. Additional reports indicate four unnamed top officials from the Ministry of Intelligence were killed, contributing to the estimated total of around 40 officials.[1][2]

Impact
An Interim Leadership Council has been appointed pending the election of a new supreme leader. Iranian state media has also declared a period of 40 days of mourning and seven days of public holidays. International observers including France, Russia, and the United Nations said that regime collapse or escalation of the fighting could occur.[15] U.S. and Israeli officials said that the operation is a step toward regime change, while Iran has retaliated.[4]
